In mid-August, Nadia stepped away from her role as Operations Manager at The Registry Theatre to focus on her health following a cancer diagnosis. For six years she kept us on track, on time, well lit, and prepared for whatever production challenges came our way. For every task we saw her do, there were two more we never saw. We felt those things keenly after her departure.
We are still struggling to find words equal to our sorrow at her loss.
Nadia believed in the power of the arts. She supported them tirelessly, working with virtually every company in the Region. A gathering at the Humanities Theatre, a venue close to her heart, feels like exactly the right way to celebrate her life.
